One Piece: The Three Admirals by Neodusk One Piece: The Three Admirals by Neodusk
So, uh, instead of doing something which would probably been a better use of my drawing time, I drew this. I guess it's still practice for copying Oda's art style.

If you're not familiar, these are the three marine admirals of One Piece. From left to right they're Borsalino (Kizaru), Kuzan (Aokiji) and Sakazuki (Akainu). They hold the powers of the Pikapika no mi, Hiehie no mi, and Magumagu no mi, respectively.

Borsalino's my favorite admiral and Kuzan's my least favorite, and yet I placed Borsalino way in the back with Kuzan out front. Go figrue.

I didn't trace these or anything (is this good enough to even necessitate such a disclaimer?), but I used specific panels from One Piece as references, with some alterations made to make them suit the picture better.

The colorizing was a last-minute decision to keep them distinguished. All these guys belong to Eiichiro Oda.

Please comment and enjoy. :P

JUst wanting to note out that the new Admiral Fujitora is too overpowered when you look at the two others... Well Kizaru is kind'a neat too but hey "I can throw asteroids at you at the same time as I eat rammen!" "I can shoot lazers out of my legs and move as fast as light!" "I'm magma :3 "

Why don't you like Kuzan? He is the most compassionate and laid-back out the admirals.

That's specifically why I don't like him. Akainu and Kizaru are villains. In a hero-villain story like One Piece, where the good guys and the bad guys are on two sides of a clear-cut line, characters like Kuzan don't appeal to me. :P

Seems a little biased, the line isn't really that clear cut either.

Seems a little biased? We're actually talking about why we do or don't like characters. Objectivity doesn't have much place here. I could say you're biased by thinking Kuzan is likeable. :P

I just think you aren't being flexible in thinking One Piece has to be black and white with their villains. And its my opinion on the matter I just disagree with yours. How is it biased to think a characters likeable anyways?

I'm not talking about bias in the context of something like "I gave that student a better grade because I like him more." To like something is to be biased to it, by definition. By my personal preferences, I decide to favor something or someone I do like over something or someone else I don't like. If you are saying that I'm not being flexible because I feel a certain way about the character Aokiji, which is different from how you feel, I could take that logic and say that you're not flexible because you also feel a certain way about Aokiji that is different from what I feel. :P
